A Brief Condensed
Diagrammatical Abridgement of
the Encyclopedia Britannica in
Twenty-Six Pages (ABCD)

This book began with my looking at drawings and diagrams from the Encyclopedia Britannica. I began playing with the idea of combining the images I found in each book so that they became a Frankenstein conglomeration of different areas of knowledge: architecture next to cellular organisms connected to machines attached to human organs and animal skeletons. The books can be viewed page-by-page, or by pulling the book flat to see the entire drawing at once.
